SUMMARY:Serving Smiles at Oak City Cares
DESCRIPTION:COVID UPDATE: Until further notice SHBHU will be  pre packing meal bags for people at OCC to take with them. The meal bags will be packed with a sandwich\, fruit\, snack\, water bottle and dessert treat. The 150 meal bags will be taken down to OCC to be 3 volunteers needed. Thank you! \n  \nJoin SHBHU on the third Sunday of every month serving meals with a smile to those experiencing homelessness in the Downtown Raleigh area. OCC is the result of many organizations working together in an effort to help close the hunger gap! SHBHU volunteers will bring food\, drinks\, take home snacks and paper products to help support the main meal. Volunteers arrive at OCC at 1:00pm to help set up the food line and we are usually finished cleaning up about 2:30pm. Volunteers will receive an email a couple days prior with specifics on what to bring with them. Any age can volunteer and serve with a smile!
