SUMMARY:SHBHU Open Arms Compassion Mission for our Afghan Friends
DESCRIPTION:This new compassion mission will be for our Afghan Neighbors coming to the Triangle area soon. We want them to all feel welcomed and loved in our community. SUMMARY:Serving Smiles at Oak City Cares
DESCRIPTION:Join SHBHU on the fourth Sunday of every month serving meals with a smile to those experiencing homelessness in the Downtown Raleigh area. OCC is the result of many organizations working together in an effort to help close the hunger gap! SHBHU volunteers will bring food\, drinks\, take home snacks and paper products to help support those in need. Volunteers arrive at OCC at 12:00pm to help set up the food line and we are usually finished cleaning up about 2:30pm. Volunteers will receive an email a couple days prior with specifics on what to bring with them. Any age can volunteer and serve with a smile! \nThey are still requiring masks be worn and temperature checks at the door for all volunteers.
