Join SHBHU on the third Sunday of every month serving meals with a smile to those experiencing homelessness in the Downtown Raleigh area. OCOC is the result of many organizations working together in an effort to help close the hunger gap! SHBHU volunteers will bring food, drinks, and paper products to help support the main meal. Join SHBHU for Stacking Shelves With Love at the Catholic Parish Outreach Raleigh Food Pantry from 9:30-12:30 ON NEW 2019 DATES BELOW. Volunteers will be sorting, re-packing , and or stocking food items to help prepare them for local families in need. Once groceries are prepared for each family, they are carted out and delivered. UPDATE and CHANGE to the Christmas Cards for Soldiers Compassion Event   We are asking Small Handers and Ambassador to help make 24 Christmas cards for our US soldiers again this year! Hi SHBHU families, I am Ambassador Mitchell and I have an urgent request for extra hands in a Compassion Mission to help Peak Lab Rescue! They will be housing 200 dogs from Carteret and Craven counties at the fairgrounds who have been displaced because of Hurricane Florence. There is an immediate need for the following items: bleach, laundry detergent, small fleece blankets, bath size towels, paper towels, Clorox wipes, dog bowls, I AMS or Purina dog food, canned pumpkin (not pumpkins pie filling), and gallon jugs of water.
