"Builders of Love" Compassion Mission Team are builidng bookshelves again and collecting books! NOVEMBER 24th 12-5pm  YMCA at Meadowmont Gazebos 310 Old Barn Lane  Chapel Hill, NC 27517 Join this team doing amazing things! They have officially built over 20+ bookshelves for our SHBHU nonprofit friends like Habitat for Humanity, Read and Feed and Gigi's Playhouse!  Ambassadors and Small Handers will also be presenting bookshelves at an upcoming Home Dedication at Habitat for Humanity as well! Ambassadors would like to know if you can help pack and decorate these breakfast bags for our Senior Citizens in need who are connected to our friends at Meals on Wheels. We need donations which you can order at the SHBHU AMAZON wish list link below, you can volunteer to pack and decorate bags in your own home or you can volunteer to deliver the bags to Meals on Wheels when they are completed.  We will be having another Compassion Meeting in May to pack and decorate bags as well.  We also need a Delivery Family to volunteer to bring bags to MOW in Raleigh on July 18th Please contact us if interested at

Let us know if you would also be able to make the delivery in July to the MOW headquarters in Raleigh.

Join SHBHU on the fourth Sunday of every month serving meals with a smile to those experiencing homelessness in the Downtown Raleigh area. OCC is the result of many organizations working together in an effort to help close the hunger gap! SHBHU volunteers will bring food, drinks, take home snacks and paper products to help support those in need. We typically serve about 200 meals during this time. Thank you to all those who have dropped books off so far for this Saturdays Habitat for Humanity of Wake County Home Dedications! WE STILL NEED MORE BOOKS though! So far this Compassion Mission team has built over 30 bookshelves that have not only Habitat for Humanity, but also to GiGi's Playhouse Raleigh, Jubilee Home, A Lotta Love, Read and Feed, Oak City Cares and Cary-Kildaire Rotary Club's Laundromat Libraries.
