Join SHBHU on the third Sunday of every month serving meals with a smile to those experiencing homelessness in the Downtown Raleigh area. OCOC is the result of many organizations working together in an effort to help close the hunger gap! SHBHU volunteers will bring food, drinks, and paper products to help support the main meal. Volunteers arrive at OCOC at 1:00pm to help set up the food line and we are usually finished cleaning up about 2:30pm. Volunteers will receive an email a couple days prior with specifics on what to bring with them. Any age can volunteer and […]

Join SHBHU for Kids Day at CPO Raleigh Food Pantry from 9:30-12:30. Volunteers will be sorting, re-packing , and or stocking food items to help prepare them for local families in need. Once groceries are prepared for each family, they are carted out and delivered. When registering please indicate number of children only. Any questions can be directed to .

Dove Missions Youth Center in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic serves 156 children and their families living in extreme poverty by providing educational services, school supplies including uniform, extra curricular activities, and food for the student's families. Each December, we provide each child with a shoe box filled with gifts, hygiene items, and sweet treats; in a box labeled especially for them!
