Small Handers and Ambassadors!   You are invited to participate in Downtown Cary’s The Gifting Tree Project, a Christmas Tree Decorating Contest in Downtown Cary!  SHBHU children have made beautiful ornaments and will be decorating one of the Christmas trees that will line Academy Street. Decorated trees will be on display through the end of December.  The public will be casting their vote on their favorite tree between December 3rd-December 17th. SHBHU Families and the entire Triangle Community, the Small Handers and Ambassadors would like to personally invite and welcome all of you to the Annual SHBHU End of the Year Celebration! The Small Handers and Ambassadors have chosen 15 local and global nonprofits that they have impacted in some way. They will be distributing "Compassion Donation Checks" again to each of them. Story and Crafts with the siblings of the child who is in the hospital and possibly the children who are receiving care at the hospital too. The Ronald McDonald House has asked SHBHU to have no more than 6 people including parents at one time so that we can maintain flexibility and maintain a calm, relaxing atmosphere for the families staying there. Attending families will be responsible for bringing crafts, craft supplies, and books.

Calling all Small Handers and Ambassadors to walk in the Cary Christmas Parade with us to spread the mission of SHBHU and JUST HAVE SOME FUN! Come and join SHBHU in this compassion mission to help serve meals to those in the Downtown Raleigh area at the Oak City Outreach Center (OCOC). OCOC is the outcome of the continual efforts to provide food assistance to individuals who are experiencing homelessness and/or lack of food on a daily basis in downtown Raleigh. Their goal is to help "close the hunger gap together." SHBHU has partnered with OCOC to help serve meals on the third Sunday of every month. Please arrive at 1:00 PM to help set up food that will e served from 1:30-2:15 and then clean […]

Upcoming Promotional Table at the Kid Dilly Expo on Jan 21st.
