Come and join SHBHU in this compassion mission to help serve meals to those in the Downtown Raleigh area at the Oak City Outreach Center (OCOC). Come and join SHBHU at the Food Bank of Eastern and Central North Carolina for Kids Day from 2-4PM! This day is designed specifically so that children can participate and learn how the Food Bank helps those in need throughout the triangle. A few things to remember when volunteering at the Food Bank...dress in layers because the warehouse may be chilly, no halter tops allowed, wear closed toed shoes, and no food or drink in the warehouse. Please bring filled out waiver with you when volunteering. It will be emailed to you once you register.

Story and Crafts with the siblings of the child who is in the hospital and possibly the children who are receiving care at the hospital too. The Ronald McDonald House has asked SHBHU to have no more than 6 people including parents at one time so that we can maintain flexibility and maintain a calm, relaxing atmosphere for the families staying there. Attending families will be responsible for bringing crafts, craft supplies, and books.
