Urgent UPDATE – Volunteers needed to tie dye Skylar’s Striders team t-shirts for CFF Walk!

We have an URGENT NEED for Ambassadors and Small Handers for the “Flip Out For Skylar” Compassion Mission!

The Wake Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s Great Strides Walk is May 14th! The Skylar’s Striders Team registration link will be sent out soon. We need walkers and volunteers! HOWEVER. we have an URGENT NEED! We need Ambassadors and Small Handers to help the Davis Family, tie dye the Skylar’s Striders Team t-shirts over this upcoming week! We already have the white t-shirts purchased but we need help getting the t-shirts rolled, rubber banded, soaked in soda ash, tie dyed, rinsed and dried!

It’s a big task but MANY ways you can volunteer!

See the tie dyeing instructions, the instructional video, the volunteer opportunities and donation list BELOW. Please let us know asap how your Ambassadors and Small Handers can help! The Davis Family needs to get the Team Name stenciled on them before May 14th so we need all the help we can get to get these t-shirts ready for that step!

Volunteer Opportunities:

-Volunteers needed to help ROLL and DYE Skylar’s Striders Team tie dyed t-shirts. Let us know the number you can manage.

– We can drop off the t-shirts, rubber bands and soda ash. Volunteers will only need to roll the shirts (see video), band and soak in soda ash, tie dye, rinse and dry the shirts.

– Lead Ambassadors will drop off some already banded shirts if that makes it easier for you as well!

Please watch the video on how to roll the shirts that Wyatt, Skylar’s brother, made years ago 🙂 Please also review the Davis Family instructions below for soaking in soda ash and dyeing the shirts and let us know how you can help!
