It’s that time again this year to Partner in Compassion for the Holiday season! We have FIVE upcoming Compassion Missions we would love your help with in any way!
WIGS FOR KIDS COMPASSION MISSION
Ambassador President Safiya Alvi is also looking to raise funds for an organization based out of her old home, Cleveland, Ohio, called “Wigs for Kids”. This organization looks to raise money and collects donated hair to create wigs for children who are facing diseases that cause hair loss, as wigs are surprisingly expensive. So far, she has partnered with Krispy Kreme Donuts and sold boxes of donuts to raise money for the cause and is now looking to work out a partnership with Moes as well! Please reach out to her at  if you’re interested in getting involved or have any ideas on ways to help.  She would love for you to come to the Moe’s Family NIght Fundraiser on Dec 12th from 5-8pm at the Arboretum location on 127 Weston Parkway, Cary, NC.
Dove Youth Development Center – Dominican Republic ANNUAL Holiday Shoebox Drive Compassion Mission
Ambassador Tonya, Alyssa, Kyndal and Shae have already received the list again of 156 children and their ages from our friends at the Dove Youth Development in the Dominican Republic!  Each year, these boxes of love are filled by SHBHU families. They then send the boxes to the children for their Three Kings’ Day Celebration! Check out one of the past video BELOW MADE BY the children at Dove Youth Development Center to say thank you for the love!
Dove Missions Youth Center in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic serves children and their families living in extreme poverty by providing educational services, school supplies including uniform, extra curricular activities, and food for the student’s families. This Compassion MIssions is about giving each child  a shoe box filled with gifts, hygiene items, and sweet treats; in a box labeled especially for them! This is often the only gift they will receive and puts a huge smile on their face! It fills them with hope and love.  Please email Anita Pease at  if any of your families would like to help fill a shoebox or 2 or 3 🙂 for a GIRL or BOY and what age.   All items must be received by December 1 to ship on December 3.  Deadline to ship boxes will be here before we know it!
