UPCOMING SERVING SMILES OAK CITY CARES

We need families to help prepare and bag 150 meals to pass out on Sunday, January 24! You can either donate the following snacks and items or just purchase and pack yourself and we will pick up the bags. If you need us to drop off the items or even some of the items for your to pack we can do that as well! Any and all help is needed. We also add a compassionate note to each bag so please make sure you write one for each bag you make! Thank you for helping! Email if you can help out!

Dove Missions Holiday Compassion Mission

Thank you to all who helped out with the Dove Missions Holiday Compassion Mission again this year! It was a huge success and a great way to end the year in compassion!

URGENT NEED for our partners at Note in the Pocket – Request for Boys Size 12 pants!

They currently have two boys (age 7 and 9) that are waiting for pants in size 12 and they have none on our shelves. They are in need of Boys Size 12 jeans and athletic pants. They want to make sure these students have warm clothes before the winter weather hits. Thank you for your support!

“The other day I watched Shark Tank with my parents and I saw this awesome product by Rumpl and it’s basically like a sleeping bag but it’s a blanket. I wanted to do something to help at Oak City Care center and purchase a lot but they are sort of expensive. The brand is awesome because they save the earth and they use plastic bottles to make the blankets. The material is lightweight which means it is easy to carry around. They come in many different colors and decorations. I believe this brand is very reliable and super eco-friendly.”
