We have our annual volunteer service opportunity set for all SHBHU families and supporters to help out with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Great Strides Walk coming up on May 18th! The SHBHU Flip Out for Skylar compassion team has fundraised and supported the Skylar's Striders team since 2013.  You can donate and or register to walk at this team's link below.  This year, we are in need of VOLUNTEERS, WALKERS, FUNDRAISERS, or all of the above now until walk day on May 18th! We appreciate your support through the years and many have expressed interest in other areas on how to help our SHBHU kids. UPDATE on the Holiday Compassion Missions SUCCESS in MANY COMPASSIONATE WAYS!

-The Serving Smiles Team loved being at Oak City Cares on Christmas Eve! Thank you to all those who donated, volunteered and helped serve 225 meals and smiles that day. Next day to volunteer in any way for this compassion misison is on January 28th. 2022 Java Jive Jog was a HUGE SUCCESS! Thank you for all the support!

SHBHU Annual Java Jive Jog 5k/10k was a HUGE SUCCESS!  With all of your help from the community a lot of money was raised to help with out mission and a lot of fun was had. Thank you ALL who volunteerd, sponsored and ran in the race!  We love our community and so happy to have the race back.  We plan to have a Spring Cornhole Tournament as well so stay tuned!

Love for our Senior Citizens and their FURRY COMPANIONS Compassion Mission

We are so thankful for her impact she had on SHBHU and we wish her all the luck with her new chapter. The Bartley Ambassadors recently led a neighborhood food drive and want to lead another MULTI neighborhood food drive in May for the NC food bank. See updates soon on the website for that as well! A few Ambassadors will be starting a compassion mission for the Wake Crisis Center and the SPCA next month! Be on the look out for infomation!

Great job Green Hope Highschool SHBHU Club! Read below about what they have created for one of the nonprofits they support in INDIA!

The Green Hope Ambassadors created a digital pictorial dictionary on Google Slides to send to the Integrated Child Development Services (IDCC). This is the nonprofit in India they have been partnering with. In the previous years, they made paper copies but this year was different due to Covid, so they decided to make it on google slides and add cool effects to make the kids more engaged.  This month, they are working on a set of digital flashcards to help middle schoolers better understand some complex scientific terms. Pretty cool! Greate job Ambassadors!
