Important message from the Green Hope Highschool SHBHU Club about their present Compassion Mission called Charms for India. These kind Green Hope Ambassadors are focusing on helping those in need after the devasting Hurricane Cyclone Amphan on top of the COVID-19 relief. They have had great success so far in their partnership with the Smile Foundation. This foundation is an NGO in India directly benefiting over 1,500,000 children and their families every year, through welfare projects on education, healthcare, livelihood and women empowerment, in over 2000 remote villages and slums across 25 states of India.! Join SHBHU on the third Sunday of every month serving meals with a smile to those experiencing homelessness in the Downtown Raleigh area. OCC is the result of many organizations working together in an effort to help close the hunger gap! SHBHU volunteers will bring food, drinks, take home snacks and paper products to help support the main meal. Volunteers arrive at OCC at 1:00pm to help set up the food line and we are usually finished cleaning up about 2:30pm.
