SHBHU "Bookshelves of Love" Compassion Mission  The SHBHU Ambassadors have now built20 bookshelves!!!  They are interested in building MORE bookshelves during 2025 for our compassion mission with Habitat for Humanity and Read and Feed. We are waiting to hear back from Habitat for Humanity on the dates of the next home dedications. Read and Feed has ALSO now received 8 bookshelves as well and is very excited to partner with us in compassion missions in 2025. Join SHBHU on the fourth Sunday of every month serving meals with a smile to those experiencing homelessness in the Downtown Raleigh area. OCC is the result of many organizations working together in an effort to help close the hunger gap! SHBHU volunteers will bring food, drinks, take home snacks and paper products to help support those in need. We typically serve about 200 meals during this time. Volunteers arrive at OCC at 12:00pm to help set up the food line and we are usually finished cleaning up about 2:30pm. Volunteers will receive an email a couple days prior with […]
